My idea of hiking is a trip from the pool to the Tikki bar! So when my son begged me to chaperon his Sixth Grade Field trip to a Wildlife Sanctuary in south Florida I blanched at the thought. "Why don't you ask your father? He loves the great outdoors." I thought I had dodged a bullet but as luck would have it, my husband's job had him scheduled out of town the week of the Field trip. It was up to me!
