The Fisher Price Little People first came onto the market in 1959. The first set that came onto the market was the school bus. Fisher Price also made Little People firemen which had green and white bodies that were wider on the bottom than on the top. The larger Little People that had the wider bases were played with the school bus, nifty station wagon and fire engine play sets.
