My 6 year old son wanted to play some games on the computer. Rather than load one of his DVD games, I went on the Hotwheels website and left him to play and explore. Ten minutes later my wife walks in wondering what on earth my son is watching and screams for me to come into the room. Apparently through a maze of banner ads beginning at Hotwheels, my son managed to navigate to a gaming website with video trailers of a violent video game. Not completely tragic, however it opened my eyes to the need for internet monitoring.
